ALS Presumptive Service Connected Disease

In spite of the Veterans Affairs, both scientific side and benefits side, and the Institute of Medicine’s efforts to deny the many issues associated to military service; HR 5454 is being introduced and is in first committee review.
HR 5454 would make ALS a presumptive service connected disease.
Through the hard work of many Veterans and Widows and little effort by the VSO’s, congress is maybe starting to realize the actual impacts found and the data associated with those impacts that are conclusive and not as subjective as portrayed by VA/IOM.
The other bill I put out in e-mail establishes presumptive disorders to Parkinson’s for herbicide exposures and that bill number is HR 6032.
All members and all those in this nation that support Veterans need to contact their congressperson and Senators to support HR 5454, HR 6032, and these activities of a congress finally realizing all is not right nor on a legal level playing field with the Veterans/Widows world in fighting our own government.
Many folks have worked long and hard…day and night to get to this point – let us not leave them behind.
