Known in many circles as * THE VOICE* and sometimes as the * THE GOLDEN PIPES * because of the many different styles of songs he can sing * The great Hal Willis * has finally made it to the *TOP* of the Canadian ladder by being inducted into the ** CANADIEN HALL OF FAME ( CCMA) A beautiful award ceremony presentation will be held in “ EDMONTON ALBERTA “ CANADA , on Sept 10th of this year. And Hal adds with a smile, If I’m still of this world. But knowing Hal, He’ll be there WITH BELLS ON to receive and accept this long overdue great Musical AWARD after waiting patiently for years Hal’s late wife * Ginger Willis * will also be honored on that great evening because she to will be inducted in the ** CANADIEN HALL OF FAME ** as it should be. Her great personality ( on or of the stage ) stole the show many time. Hal is proud to tell anybody who will listen what a great talent she really was. Due to the many musical degrees that she had received in music and the many languages she could speak, she tough Hal how to speak English and introduced him to show business where nice things started to happen like getting booked in some of the BIG CLUBS in the business by putting their best foot forward. Hal has been dancing a jig since he’s learned of her Induction. Something that should have been done many moons ago and to boot. This induction of Ginger brings tears to my eyes…. Les Swazzo
