Ross Franklin Boerstler a resident and businessman of Henryetta passed away on March 3, 2008 in Tulsa, Ok at the age of 87. Born January 21, 1921 in Henryetta, Ok to Clarence Ross and Willie Pearl (Farmer) Boerstler. Frank married Velma Nellean Gordon on September 7, 1947 in Henryetta. He served in the US Army during WWII. Frank was a member of the First Baptist Church we here he served as a Sunday School Teacher, Deacon and on many other Church Committees. He also served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scout House, Henryetta Library Board and a strong supporter of the Henryetta Educational Foundation. Frank and Nellean owned and operated the Kennedy Lumber Company in Henryetta for many years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a son; Benny Boerstler and 2 sisters; Anna Viena Hall and Viola Been.

Wife: Nellean Boerstler of the home
Daughter: Sally Woodward and husband Chip of Kingwood, TX
Son: James Boerstler and wife Kay of Henryetta
Daughter: Jan Prahl and husband Randy of Henryetta
Grandchildren: Heather Good, Allyson Heathcott, Will Boerstler, Phoebe Boerstler, Tyler Prahl and Lori Prahl
Great Grandson: Harper Heathcott
Brother: Bill Boerstler of Bristow,OK

Memorial service will be held at 2:00pm, Saturday, March 8, 2008 at the Henryetta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Services under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home

Memorials can be made to the Henryetta First Baptist Church, Henryetta Library, Henryetta Educational Fund or the Girl Scout House.
