I can't begin to express my feelings about the death of my granddaughter Skyla Whitaker. It was so sudden, so un-called for, so tragic and she didn't deserve this.
My family will have a hard time recovering from this terrible act and we still don't know why.
I still want to urge you to hold fast to your children and grandchildren, keep them safe. Don't ever let yourself think they are safe because they can be taken from you in a second.
I do wish to give my thanks to all the good people across the US that have sent cards, donations, gifts of prayer and your deeds have over-whelmed us all.
The people of America are the most kind hearted. Some of you I don't know, but to you I send my thanks. May God bless you all.
