Ruth Bentley a resident of Henryetta passed away on February 23, 2009 in Henryetta, Ok at the age of 93. She was born on April 16, 1915 in Okmulgee, Ok to John and Myrtle (Booker) Hodges. She married Neal Bentley and was a homemaker. Ruth was very active in the Henryetta First Baptist Church where she helped count the offering for over 30 years. She attended the Mary Martha Sunday School class and served as the department sectary, member of the Trotter Toppers, Women on Missions and various committees in the church and served as a volunteer at the Henryetta Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Neal, a daughter Mary Lee Durbin, 3 brothers and two sisters, Gladys Hodges and Opal Stephenson.

Services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, February 26, 2009 at the Henryetta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
