Gerald Eugene Sanford a resident of Henryetta passed away on May 22, 2009 in Henryetta at the age of 79. Born, November 6, 1929 to Floyd and Etola (Guinn) Sanford. He married Barbara Wasson on September 16, 1950 in Henryetta,Ok. He owned and operated Sanford Trucking Company until his death. Gerald enjoyed reading and having great debates with family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Barbara, daughter, Rita Sanford; Grandson Aaron Sanford and a brother Bucky Sanford.

Visitation for Sunday will be from 12:00 to 8:00pm
Monday Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00pm
Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at the First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Brad Campbell officiating. Interment will follow at the New Senora Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
