Brian Shane Hicks a resident of Dewar, Ok passed away on May 28, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Ok at the age of 20. Born May 2, 1989 in Okmulgee, Ok to Leo Hicks Jr and Sharon (Eslick) Hicks. Brian was a graduate of Dewar High School Class of 2007 and loved to play softball and pool. Brian worked as a welder. He is preceded in death by his brother Leo “Budda” Hicks, Paternal Grandparents; Leo and Liza Hicks Sr., Maternal Grandmother; Shirley Eslick and his great Grandfather Edmond Hicks.

Wake service will be held Monday evening at the Dewar First Baptist Church from 7:00 -9:00.
Services will be 2:00 pm, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Dewar First Baptist Church with Rev. Jack Vance, officiating. Interment will follow at the Senora Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
