Jaunita Burnett a resident of Henryetta passed this life on May 30, 2009 in Henryetta at the age of 96. She was born on October 4, 1912 in Oklahoma to Henry and Mamie (Conn) Bailey. She was a home maker and growing up she worked for her parents that owned the Bailey Grocery Store in Henryetta. Jaunita was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, The Ithana Club and the Couples Bridge Class. Jaunita married William Joseph “Joe” Burnett and they made Henryetta their home. Joe precedes her in death and her parents, 3 sisters and three brothers.

Services will be 10:00 am, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Paslay officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home.
