“Sincere forgiveness isn't colored with expectations that the other person apologize or change. Don't worry whether or not they finally understand you. Love them and release them. Life feeds back truth to people in its own way and time.”

Dad, I miss you so much. I won't be there for this service, but God granted me that small moment in time recently where I got to see you, hold your hand, and tell you I love you and forgive you. You are the only Dad I've ever known and I've missed you so much over the years. And from here on out I will always remember the good times we had together, like when you would sing "The Lion Sleeps Tonight", or when you put flowers behind your ears and danced around with me, or when you would put me on your back in the pool and jump out of the water...Those are the things I will remember about you. The strong, independent, fun-loving man I knew as my Dad.

You will always be my Dad...I will always be your daughter, and I will always love you.
Tina
