The obituary of my grandfather does a great job of describing the hero that he is! I can't imagine living the life he did, we do not realize how truly fortunate we are! It takes the bravest men to fight for their country; especially at such young ages. Thank you Grandpa!
Even after my grandfather's service in WWII he continued to be a hardworking man and a good provider for his family. He is loved and respected by many and will be truly missed. I can't imagine not getting to see his big blue eyes anymore!

I am sorry you last few weeks were so uncomfortable. We had hopes you would get better but God needed you more. I am glad that my mom was there to hold your hand and tell you it was okay to let go... you put up a good fight, but some things are out of our control. I love you so much and I will see you again soon. Be a good boy!
