David Cleland a resident of Henryetta passed away on September 22, 2009 in Henryetta at the age of 72. Born July 31, 1937 in Henryetta to Olen D and Rena E. (Davis) Cleland. David married Barbara Bell and worked as a mechanic and a member of the Masonic Lodge. While living in Henryetta he worked for the Shurden-Buchanan Funeral Home, owned 3rd Street Service Station, was employed at Cunningham Brothers Service Station, Ball InCon Glass Plant and Okmulgee County until he retired from farming and ranching.
He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Jo Cleland Clapsaddle and a brother in law Steve Callich.

Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday, September 26, 2009 at the Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Wolfe, officiating. Interment will follow at the Westlawn Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of the Rogers Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be David Lane, Lewis Walters , Luther Burklin, Harold Henderson, Dee Tabor and Kenneth Bevans. Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Cunningham, Doyle Cunningham, and Jesse Watson.
