See what I said about maidens...you just never know what is gonna happen. Babe spent the day yesterday pacing the fence between her and the other mama's. The two fillies spent the day pacing the other side of the fence with her. Was so cute. I was able to hand express a thicker stickier liquid from her udder last night. More typical of colostrum. Her foal was moving like mad last evening while she ate her dinner. Don't know if you saw Megan and me in there looking and feeling her side as her foal moved. Megan and her Dad are good frineds and look after things when we are gone. Babe had a very quiet night compared to the night before. She'll go out again today unless we are headed off somewhere. It is time to take Rusty to the vet for her ultrasound to see if she is in foal. Going to be fun to get her baby "Ditto" into the trailer. We'll leave Babe in if we can get in to the vets this morning so you all can help keep an eye on her. Thanks for watching!
