Got home from a long day at the hospital today. Headed to the barn to check on Babe. Well she has about worn out the middle of her stall floor! Checked her udder and folks we have WHITE milk!!!!! Sooooo...foaling should be within 24 hrs. I plan on leaving her out till about 8 pm CST then we'll bring her in and feed etc. We aren't going to put straw down until we head to bed as she will likely walk it in to finely ground something. For all you serious mare watchers me thinks it would be a good night to get the coffee pot going about 9 pm. I'll update again when we do our bedtime check.
