We started Rusty on the Equidone last night and what a difference already. She was more restless last night like a mare that is overdue and her udder looks much better than when we brought her in last night. The fescue is just having more of an impact than we thought. We've been bringing the mares in off the pasture about 45-60 days prior to foaling but I guess we need to go to 90 days prefoaling to let the fescue get out of their systems. Belle and Babe should do better. I hope! Rusty will get the Equidone now daily for 5 days and she should foal within that time. Thanks for watching!
