I saw 'em about two months ago. The introduction is a bit of a laugh, isn't it? Heh heh. (It's also weird as hell to see the band themselves soundcheck)
I totally agree, Race for the Prize was a great start to the show... and you can't help but smile with all the streamers, confetti and balloons flying everywhere. People were still bouncing the balloons around even by the end of the show (some people actually left the building with 'em, too).
They focused a whole heap on the new album, so I was pretty clueless to the songs... (really got to check that stream on Colbert Nation out), but a lot of the songs seemed rather dark.
And, I also think Do You Realise?? is an amazing/wonderful song... especially with all the confetti and streamers. You can't help but be taken in!
