But to answer your question, I have no idea. I wrote a bunch of crap about R.E.M. roughly three years ago and I liked their music... I do actually revisit them from time to time.
Unfortunately, even if I was the sort of person who had a photographic mind and memorized lyrics, it wouldn't help me much in R.E.M.'s case, since that dude has a tendency to mumble unintelligibly.
I'm glad you made it to this site and I hope you stick around, but you might be better off poking around on an R.E.M. fan-site to find an answer to this question.
