This is important, if someone does a search there are several years in archives and it will be searching for that date!
Remember if you are using the search feature to try the dates in several ways, example 8/5/71 8/05/1971 August 5 1971 ect because you do not have a clue how they did it.

Original atty drew up adpt papers Nov 1971 (never filed? not sure), then additional papers filed when I was 25 for adoption. Flood during Allison at St.Jos hosp in Houston ruined records - contacted doctor - his personal recs ruined in flood too. Am interested to find if papers filed in or around 11/1971. Need to find my birthname and b/par - all I have is a reconstructed birth cert w/no info on it (no father listed). Attorney in Houston in 1971 was someone named Calhoun. Would like to see if they have anything but can't find any listings for him. Thank you.
