PUT THE BIRTHDATE in the SUBJECT LINE!!! Use the month/day/year format and put place of birth too!!
The board is set up so you can search for anything with the date that you are looking for so search it as (example)8/5/71, 08/05/1971 August 5 1971 because you don't know what format they may have typed it... If everyone would stick to the same format it sure would make it easier!!
For petes sake Use a good email address thatyou are going to keep for years..... it could be 3 years from now before you are found and if you have closed that email address you are SOL
Don't post garbage, jobs, etc on this board, it is spam and I will take it off eventually. I just spent an hour cleaning up the garbage so please save both of our time and just don't put it there.

I am searching for my son who was born 11/18/82 at Mercy Hospital in Rockville
Center, NY. His mom was fifteen and I was sixteen at his birth. I am from
Vermont and she was from Long Island. Her name was Lisa R. Zahn and she was at
Regina House in Merrick, N.Y. prior to his birth. I am assuming the adoption was
handled through Catholic Services or the SRS division in Long Island. I have
been searching for him for quite a while. I am hoping he will see this and
contact me.
