God bless Mrs. Loker, her family and the deep lifetime of love that she had for USC, USC Track and Field and Education in general. They don't come any bigger then she.
She was a semi regular at many of our TCSD Events down here and we always did what we could to accomodate her nicely and welcome and thank her for her love for USC! It was interesting to know that per the article in today's SD Union, she missed making the USA Olympic team in 1932, by well under 1 second, so her love for T+F goes way back in time.
She was not only a huge donor to USC, but also to Harvard, and to many various very worthy Educational purposes in So. California, including in her hometown, of Oceanside, as well as the Nixon Library. Her father became the founder and owner of Star Kist Tuna.
Services are this Thur. in San Pedro. God bless you and THANK YOU AND ALWAYS FIGHT ON !!!, Mrs. Loker !
You were the BEST OF THE BEST!
