I want to share a Katherine Loker moment with everyone. Most of you don't realize that Katherine Loker went to every USC track and field banquet in February to kick off the upcoming season and reward the athletes from the previous year. This banquet is very very long. I think it is 4 hours long. Anyway, my wife and I were getting ready to leave after 3 hours and 45 minutes. At this time, the athletes were introducing themselves to the audience. And it takes awhile for 100 people to do this. As we got up to leave, I saw Katherine Loker intensely listening to everyone give their name, event, and hometown. At 90 years of age, she had been there for almost 4 hours. And she was enthusiastically into every single athlete on the team. I came away from that event very impressed with Mrs. Loker. She was a great Trojan. Thank you Katherine Loker for everything you did to help USC!
