You know about a week ago Wifey ask me to go with her to her Lawyer's office to sign a document for her mother. Apparently it was a life insurance policy and there were lots of pages we had to read. So I grabbed a pop sat on my behind and I was taking my sweet time to read this document. Well apparently her Lawyer got very upset with me because I taking too long and cutting into his time. I didn't care what the Lawyer say if it took me 5 years to read the document I was going go sit there for the 5 years just to read the Fine prints.

Ever since I got scammed back in 1986 I never sign a document unless I read the Fine prints from top to bottom. I always tell my daugthers when they get married before signing the marriage certificate please make sure and read the fine prints. Lots of marriages end up in divorce today why.. Because the married couple never take time to read the fine prints before signing their marriage certificate.

I also told my son when I close my eyes and kick the bucket please make sure and read the fine prints for me before signing my death certificate. It's my final expenses and I want make sure I don't scammed by some money grabbing undertaker. When my father died back in 1992 I had some unkind words for the Undertaker. He was in a rush and I want to take my time just to read the fine prints. Apparently there was something in the fine prints I was not happy about and I talk to him about it. By reading the fine prints we were able to save some money for my father's final expenses.

Here is a perfect example why you must read the fine prints. Anything today that sound too good too be true 90% of the time it's not true.

You get a letter in the mail requesting you get a credit card. They tell you it's only 5% interest. You get so happy like a pig playing in mud. You never take the time to read the fine prints. You go ahead and fill out the application. 3 weeks later you get a credit card with a $5000 dollar credit limit. You so happy you start spending like crazy. 8 months later you realize that the 5% interest credit card jumped up to 25% interest. You so upset you call the credit card company and the first thing they ask you is. Did you read the fine prints? Lots of people get scammed by credit card companies. Why? Because they never take time to read the fine prints.

When you look at the news today lots of Americans are losing their homes. Why? Because they never read the fine prints before signing the documents. My daughter is so dam dotish right now she owes 10 thousand dollars to a cell phone company. Why? Because she never read the fine prints. The fool went to Jamaica and make lots of calls on her cell phone not knowing she was getting charge for roaming charges. When she came to me with tears in her eyes the first thing I ask her is... Did you read the fine prints...

The motto of the story is... Don't get scammed like the way I did in 1986 by a smooth talking car salesman. Take time to read the fine prints.
