OMG I finally got hold of the series on DVD. Its every bit as good as i remember and have watched it several times. It has stayed with me all these years, and i also still have a rather battered paperback. Couldnt work out why they changed a coupla names - Stella's baby and Dave. Wish I cld now get the music - 'Bad Times' is just soooo good, and as for 'Guy', it made me feel like a teenager again!!
