The Truth is Stranger than Fiction: Unraveling the layers

After having read THE CATCHERS OF HEAVEN by Dr. Michael Wolf twice, and after having done numerous interviews with top UFO military informants, I realize that this man is telling the truth about his involvement in the UFO Cover-up. Billed as fiction, the book reveals the intricate workings of a group called the Alphacom team( first contact) and how they were used to interface with several alien visitors. One must read between the lines and one understand the phrase " official deniability" and realize why it was created. It is obvious that there is some wise element in the U.S. government that wants the "truth" to be revealed in this intimate story of the life of Dr. Wolf otherwise it could never have been published. Yes, one is challenged intellectually by this book. It appears as a story , quasi Faulkner-like in its literary style , filled with the stream of consciousness accounts and colorful poetic images , sometimes too abstract for the average reader.. What would you expect from a genius who has many PHDs , a scientist, a philosopher , a painter and an extremely sensitive man who first received a literary award at the age of seven years old.

Michael tells his story and sometimes rants and raves and at first, the reader may become discouraged in reading but those who are able to assimilate the information given will be truly rewarded in the end with a veritable mind expanding experience. The book talks about Dr. Wolf's cloning of a soldier called GI Joe as part of the government's Black Operations program called Project Sentinel. It talks about Michael's childhood and adult experiences of contact with several races of " galactic Visitors" and how he was used by the US government as an " interface" or Intergalactic Ambassador worldwide; how he was sent to Vietnam as Flight surgeon and called back by LBJ because he was too precious and was needed; how he worked at area 51( S4) on genetic research , cloning and neurotoxins ( (the King Cobra has 144 different ones); how he did undercover work for " the Company" ( CIA ) and lived in Rome; how he was used as an extra in the Fellini film 81/2; how he needed to hide his activities from his wife Sara and his son Daniel; how devastated when when he survived a "suspect" car accident that killed his wife, 17 year old son and unborn child. He has reason to rant and rave as he is like to Walt Whitman screaming in pain for lost innocence and serious regret for a life that he truly believed was " a contribution to science and humanity. It is obvious that he has some regrets but it is also obvious in the last chapter that he believes that humanity's saving grace is the ability to grasp the truth and unite together in an atmosphere of unconventional, unconditional love. I was truly moved by this book and I recommend it to all serious researchers who hope to find the truth in our lifetime.

Sociological, Alien & Disturbing, 24 November, 1998

After reading an article on the book in UFO Magazine in the UK I decided that I must read it. An extraordinary book that throws the reader into an almost sociological alien environment allowing the author to convey his message with conviction. If it is fiction, buy god it deserves the booker prize. Heavy reading but well worth the trudge. Opens the readers mind to what might happen and makes one wonder what the future has in store.

Love it or Hate it -- I LOVE IT!!!, 16 November, 1998

To all potential readers...This is a FANTASTIC work!! I've read it numerous times and will continue to read it periodically. I learn more and more each read. Non-fiction...No. Autobiography...Maybe. Work of fiction...Probably. Regardless of content, as a reader you will either love it or you won't!! Frankly, the majority of the readers have loved it and learned from it. Seemingly, the readers most critical of this work seem to forget that the work not only contains three (3) disclaimers, but claims that the contents are fictional. Readers of this book will realize that it contains information recently released (and contained that information before it became "public"). Check out the copyright. Second copyright was 1996. It's funny that the major detractors investigate the author based on the contents of the book. Why investigate this man based on the contents of a work of fiction??? Would critical readers investigat Tom Clancy in a similar manner? I think not. Purchase this book for the message it contains, not the nature of the factual matter it conveys. Moreover, purchase it for the help it will eventually provide the children of the world. J.M. Baird, Pres., The Daniel Wolf Memorial Foundation for Children, Inc.

The "Catchers of Heaven": An Unworthy Piece of Fiction., 12 April, 1998
Reviewer: gin@mindspring.com from LaGrange, Georgia
Regrettably, Michael Wolf has offered no proof of who he is and what he claims. "Catchers of Heaven" bears no relation to the real world of ufos and ufology. After reading his work of fiction--which he acknowledges at the beginning of the book--I had an opportunity to talk to him on "Vincent and Company" of United Broadcast Network. On asking where he obtained his doctorate degrees he refused to answer. Wolf also had no idea of what I meant on asking him if he knew what "Shadows" were. (Aliens often are seen as such.) It was clear to this UFO investigator that Wolf has gleamed all he knows of UFOs and aliens from internet browsing. "Catchers of Heaven" is not a good read nor one I would recommend under any circumstances. John C. Thompson ISUR board member/past GA MUFON state dir.

I am J. M. Baird and I can be reached at jmccbbaird@aol.com I've read the book a number of times, initially reviewing the original manuscript. The first and second reads were for my enjoyment, so much to learn, so much packed in so few words. The next few reads were for style and revision, as I happened to be one of the initial editors of the manuscript, along with R. T. Ferguson. This is more than a work concerning the government and the Dr. wolf's involvement with it. This book can change lives. Especially the sale of it, as the proceeds will benefit a nonprofit foundation dedicated to children and their future. funds will be dispersed for research, support, etc. If you have any questions or comments about the book, please send e-mail to my address. Thanks for the time. I'll notify Dr. Wolf as to the manner in which to access your site. perhaps he will find the time to review the book as the writer. I hope to hear from you soon.
