It is with deep sympathy and a heavy heart that I must report this sacriligous undertaking by our Gouyave folks where our "Small Jacks" are now being referred too as "Bait" and some are refusing to sell them to returning nationals like myself.

I pray that the Gods would awaken their senses and remind them of the days when fried small jacks were the delicacy of the town and our appetite would not be satisfied unless we had eaten about ten grains.

I am sure Decoteau must have had something to do with that.
