The Snake That Came that would never stay
So in the times of tears
And the unstopping fears
Of course the snake came to me
Promising that I could be free
Trust your emotions is what he said
And I hate when I eat the lies he feed
I’m now bleeding on the floor
And now crying way more
Why can’t I trust?
When the snake leads me to lust
You give me the answers this I know
But it’s the rejection that I show
You keep giving me forgiveness
But its you that’s fades in dimness
Why sometimes is it so hard for me?
You’re waiting for me to be
Just who I can become
But gosh danget here the snake comes
I trust you now though
And the snake losses his show
In my head that he had
And all the thoughts so bad
I know u have left your scars
But with God they be afar
See yeah u'll have your fame
And yeah u put me thru shame
And yeah u left me lame
But with God you’re only the snake who came
That would never stay
