I want you to know,
You raised me right.
I'm finally starting to grow.
I'm becoming that person,
You once taught right from wrong.
I know you're thinking
What the heck took so long?
God put obstacles in my path.
So that in the aftermath,
I will be there to help another.
Who knows...
Maybe someday it will be my brothers.
I can't begin to thank you enough.
I know you didn't want my life to be so rough.
But it's made me who I am today.
And if I have troubles along the way.
You also taught me...
Just kneel and pray.
