I wrote this poem for my husband about a month after he went to be with the Lord.
UNTIL TOMORROW
As you leave here forever,
I hold onto your hand.
Comforted to know
you've gone to Canaan's land.
I know you are moving upward,
and this is not the end,
you will wait for me in Glory
with our families and friends.
Your suffering has ended.
You have sweet relief.
You now can walk with Jesus,
because of your belief.
Years ago, one August
you fell upon your face,
and asked the Lord to save you
by His mercy and His grace.
Because those many mansions
wait for us on high,
I can say, "until tomorrow,"
for this is not "goodbye."
for my husband, Jerry,(8/16/39--6/13/05)
