Sorry, I had some typos in the poem I posted, so they are corrected now!
The Lord blessed me tonight with this poem! I hope you all enjoy it, as much as I enjoyed typing it!
One day I woke up and was hollow, and Hell to follow
I was a drunkard with sin, looking back where I have been
Not knowing where to turn, only knowing I was going to burn
I was in satans bondage, and fear of loosing my soul
Scared of dying, always crying, I was very low
I heard a voice in my head, that was gentle, while I laid in my bed
The voice said I am your God, and I love you
Then God said I will always be with you, even to the end
I will never forsaken you, and if you sin, you have an advocate with the Father
I fell on my knees, and screamed my God lives forever, and pleed
Professing Jesus is the Lord, my God, my savior, and my King of Kings! And He died on the cross for my sins, and God raised him back up 3 days later!
Tears rolling down my face while unspeakable joy was all over the place
My life is new, my heart changed, I realized this Gentile became a Jew!
Reading God's word, living for the Lord, and flying like a bird!
So if your reading this, and are lost, there is hope
Jesus is the one who saves, not the Pope!
