There is so much contradiction in the above. Yes, I would certainly agree that this (posted) type of music is new age and devotional,...music that sustains egos sleep. All the lyrics resonate with ego spirituality,...that is, the upliftment of the Long Path to sustain the beliefs of ego.
No one who has genuinely investigated truth would celebrate along with the (posted) songs.
As all these songs celebrate beliefs that, for those taken in by them, present a deeper barrier between who they are, and who they "think" they are. A KEY to awakening and truth is to let go of these sort of devotional beliefs that stand between us and our direct experience.
Remember,...truth compassion shines it light on everything,...even on that which although it believes is coming from light, is actually not.
True compassion is intolerant of all devotional belief music,...people are not their beliefs.
