Not wanting to get lowballed on the price is fine, but make sure your terms and grading are consistant. For a true "Excellent" card (i.e. one that you would expect to grade "5-EX" with one of the major reputable services) you shouldn't expect to get more than 50-60% of high book value at most. Some people would probably be disappointed if they did not consider this and were only offered half of Beckett.
