"The Wells (who bought both Moxie and Matilda a couple years ago) and their friends swung by on their way to Illinois. Yes, Buddy Linda M has a very good eye – Matilda is home. She is on the main cam and settling back in. Matilda was too much horsepower for Sharron, though Dave did fine on her. Since this is to be Sharron’s horse, she hopes to trade to a different one in the near fiuture – Spice may be an option after her abcess heals; right now she is gimpy and uncomfortable. Matilda is just like her mom – an athlete who is muscled up and ready to go. Boy she looks good. We’ll have to try her out and see how far along she is under saddle and then decide what’s next for her – I know a few trainers that would love to have her in their barn f0r a variety of events, but we don’t want to spend the money right now. We’ll give it 90 days at Saddlebrook and then make some decisions."
