FULL MOON ECLIPSE & THE BEGINNING OF PASSOVER
Wesak - marks the birth, enlightenment and final passing away of the
Buddha. The Buddha was born as Prince Siddharta Gautama on a full moon
day in the month of Wesak (month of May in present day calendar) in
623 BC. Siddharta began his search for enlightenment at age 29 and
after six years realized the eternal truth, thus becoming the Buddha -
which means the Awakened One. This event took place at dawn in the
month of Wesak in 588 BC, which was also a full moon day. The Buddha
taught the truth for 45 years until his final passing away into
Nirvana on a full moon day in 543 BC. Thus, all the three major events
in the Buddha's life happened on a full moon day in the month of
Wesak. As such Buddhists throughout the world celebrate this
thrice-blessed day
The Wesak Festival is a great spiritual event, with a powerful effect
upon humanity. Groups of aspirants can at that time become channels
for the higher energies released through two focal points-the Buddha,
who represents wisdom and the Christ, who representatives love. Wesak
is a time of unusual in-flow and influx of spiritual stimulation,
which vitalizes the aspiration of humanity.
The day of the Wesak full moon is known as the Day of Safeguarding. We
become the recipients of as much of the holy energy as we can possibly
hold. We absorb, circulate and then distribute this holy energy. At
the time of Wesak, the Christ and the Buddha open a channel of
communication between humanity and spirit allowing contact between man
and 'Those Who guide the planet'. This time period represents a door
and a great cycle of opportunity to become a channel of the Shamballa
Light. In mutual service to humanity, the Buddha and the Christ bring
about a linking that blends East and West, uniting the world's major
religions in a shared holy day allowing expansions of consciousness
that are not possible at other times.
WHAT IS SHAMBALLA?
The thought of Shamballa, (also known as Shangri-La ) conjures up
images of a paradise land, a mythical, magical place, where only peace
is known and the people remain eternally youthful and healthy. This
land has often been thought of as existing deep within the Himalayan
Mountains of Tibet, and there is a large amount of evidence in proof
of that. Shamballa is a 'key' to our souls' evolution.
Much focus on Shamballa has been on the esoteric viewpoint, as
portrayed by the Masters through Helena Blavatsky, Alice Bailey and
other early Theosophists. Their idea was that Shamballa, (as a "City
of Light") now resides in the etheric plane of Earth, acting as a
vital link between Earth and the incoming cosmic energy rays from the
universe. It is the 'home' of many Masters and beings of Light a place
of education, meditation. Shamballa is a metaphor for the highest
'state of consciousness' to which we can elevate ourselves as we
purify all our bodies and access the inner chambers of our spiritual

counterpart to this 'God consciousness.' an important model of how the
world can live in true peace, love and abundance.

it is 'above' Earth, serving as generator and transmitter of God
energies. We are the 'God's in embryo' waking up to our role in this
