Message Board Features… Our boards feature a clean easy to use threaded format. Listed below are some of the features of our Message Boards. Fully Customizable – Using the administration area you can customize most aspects of your board. Some of the options include font colors, logo and background images. Customizable Header and Footer – By adding HTML, Style elements or any kind of code to the headers and footers you can make the board look and act like your website. Your imagination is the limit!! Searchable Board – Your visitors can search your board for the information they are looking for. View Today’s Messages – With one mouse click you visitors can see all the new messages posted today. Emoticons (Smilies) – You can allow the use of Emoticons on your board. With our “Insta Smilie” system adding a Smilie to your message is as easy as clicking an image. For a full list of available Smilies click here. EBCode – EBCode allows your visitor to customize the look of their message without the use of HTML. EBCode is similar in function to UBB code. For a list of supported EBCode tags click here HTML – If you feel you have more advanced visitors you can allow the use of HTML code to customize the look of messages. Optional Links – This is an easy way to post a link to an outside site within your message. Optional Images –This is an easy way to add an image to your message. E-Mail on Follow-up – By checking a box at the time your visitor posts a message they can opt to have an e-mail alert sent to them when a follow-up message is posted. Notification of New Messages – This option sends an e-mail message to the board administrator when new messages are posted to the board Instant Upgrades – When we add additional features your account is automatically upgraded!! These upgrades are announced on our Support Board and on our News page. Time/Time zone – You have the option to display the time and date or just the date on new messages. If you opt to have the time displayed you can adjust the time to your time zone. Thread Separator – We offer four (4) styles of thread separator for your board. The options are None, Space between threads, Line between threads or a line and a space between threads. Using the line or link and space make your board much easier to read Message Archive – We will archive all the messages posted to your board on a single page that you can download and keep as an archive! Board Security Flood Control – This stops unwanted repeated messages from being posted on your board. The Message Board administrator can chose the post interval the best suits the board. The interval is configurable from15 seconds to 2 minutes. IP Banning – This allows you to ban users from posting on your board based on their IP address. You can bane either a single IP address or a range of addresses. IP address displayed on posts – This allows you to display the posters IP address right in the message. This is useful for banning. Posting Log – The posting log displays information about the last 50 messages posted on your board. The board administrator can view the log, have the log sent to them VIA e-mail or clear the log. Password protected board. – This forces your users to register before being able to post or view messages on your board. We give the Administrator full control over the users through the Password Utility. Bad Word Filter – This allow you to decide what words you find offensive and include just those words in your filter list.
